Her arms were covered and the blood still seemed to seep through the cloth. The doctors tried to rescue her cold and paling body, hoping that their efforts would be rewarded with her life. She took a few raspy breaths before attempting to speak. "....My....Life....is gone....When....he died....so...did.....I..." she said feeling as though she had just done something extremely tiring. She could hear one of the nurses speaking, not really paying much attention to what she was saying. "...we need you to stay with us Rose....Please just stay with us..." Pleaded an overly sweet voice. She tried to keep focused on the voice, but it too slipped away. She felt cold as she watched the world grow darker.
She then felt as though she was on air...as if she was a cloud. She opened her eyes and screamed as she feasted her eyes upon a silvery gold orb that just by its presence she could tell this was....in essence, god. "Am i dead now?" she asked hoping so, so that all of it could be over.
The globe, looking so beautiful she could bairly stand to look at it, hovered near her, forcing her to look upon its splendor. As it spoke she didnt know weather to smile or cry, the voice was sweet, and deep, and strong, all at once. She could bairly contain the expression of strain on her fave. "You are one of my dearest creations Rose..." it said with amazing senarity, it almost made her cry. "....How could that be, you took from me what i loved the most and im about to lose my house and im going to lose....her..." The orb sighed and said "Him... Your son, you will not lose him, your husband was your price to pay. " She looked at it and started to scream "MY PRICE TO PAY!? What the fuck is that!?" she sobbed as she thought back on losing him, and how, where ever she was right now, it did not seem as terrifying, being alone, as it had been when she had tried to reason out killing  herself.
"You had to lose the most precioius thing in your life, to gain the next..." the orb said softly as she fell to her knees still crying. "YOU TOOK HIM FROM ME!!!!!" she screamed, letting the words echo off of everything. "The war took him from you..." said the orb. "...No....You took him from me....you had controll over what was happening...you could have saved him... YOU Took him from me..." she said looking down. She looked to her arms where she saw the blood stained cuts where she had dug the razor in so deep she felt her muscle's flex as she encouraged the blood to flow.
"He waits for you...but he knows as well as i, that this is not your time...you have a long way to go....and so does your son....He will be the end..." It said to her calmly. "End....the end to what?" She asked trying to compose herself. "...The end to war....world hunger....famine....grief...and...disbelief...." She let the tears flow as she spoke "...His father...who...?" she asked not wanting the answer. "I do not want you to think i am the next Holy Mary Mother of Jesus...If the baby is not mine and my husband's then i will give up on life...and die...for good..." "I only had one son to give to mankind....and he has been gone for a long time....The baby is yours and your husband's." The orb said. "Would you like to see him before you go back?" It asked. "What do you mean, 'see him'?" She asked still sobbing lightly. "I can show him to you...if you want...If you dont then i will send you and your son back now...." "NO! Please....let me see him...let me say goodbye...Please....I never got the chance to before....I felt so empty...Like i had died inside and my will to live shrivled up with his passing...."
The orb turned a brilliant shining silver and Rose let out a shreaking cry of joy. "Noah!" she said not moving from her place. "He is as real as you are Rose...you may go to him." As if in a trance she went to him. "...Noah...." she said crying as she hugged him and sobbed 'I love you's' "Take good care of him ok....and give him a name that means something to us both..." Noah said in her ear as he kissed her deeply.
She sobbed as she heard him whisper "I have to go...but i promise you baby, i'll be waiting for you on the other side....its not your time...not yet....be strong for me...and i will be waiting for you." She let out a soft 'no' and then kissed him one last time. "...I will be strong, and i will protect him....as my oath to you my love...i love you..." she said to him. He whispered "i love you Rose...." and as quickly as he had appeared he had vanished.
"....I will go back....and i will not see you until it is my time...i swear on my love for them both....I will stay strong...." She said, tears still streaming down her face. "I know you will Rose...you are one of my most precious beings....and your son and husband are two others...Do not worry Rose....in the dark you may feel small, and volunerable, but i am always with you...as is Noah...and we would never let anything ever happen to you..."
As she heard the orb's final words everything started to go black again. When she opened her eyes, what seemed like a split second later, she felt the pain in her arms, and she looked to see that all the cuts had been stiched up. She looked up and couldent help but put her hand on her stomach and.....cry. She opened her eyes and spoke the softest word "Noah...."
